Roni Kvatchadze is a seasoned development professional with over 10 years of experience spanning the public sector, international development, and civil society. As a Consultant at PMCG, he specializes in energy policy, circular economy, waste management, and sustainable urban development.

Prior to joining PMCG, Roni worked with the Ministry of Energy of Georgia and the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN), where he contributed to strategic initiatives aimed at improving environmental governance and promoting sustainable resource use across the South Caucasus region.

Roni holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET). He combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on experience in designing and implementing projects funded by major international donors, including USAID and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

At PMCG, Roni leads and supports key assignments in:

  • Circular resource and waste management strategies
  • Green city development and climate resilience
  • Renewable energy policy and infrastructure planning
  • Environmental finance and municipal service reform

His work has recently been featured in high-level policy dialogues and expert panels, including the ADB’s Annual Meeting and USAID’s Local Governance Program, where he shared actionable insights on green cities, circular economy, and sustainable finance.
